BRÖTJE-Automation is the world market leader when it comes to supplying machines and systems for the production of fuselage panels and sections.

Due to various, customized types of outer skin riveting machines, our customers are able to rivet aircraft panels or barrels made from metal or carbon fibers. BRÖTJE-Automation covers the entire application range – from robotic cell to complex 360°(?) ° barrel riveting machines.

In order to assemble the inner structures such as shear clips and frames, special inner structure riveting machines are developed and in successful sustained production worldwide.

BRÖTJE-Automation has developed special section assembly systems for assembling single panels into complete sections. Controlled by laser tracker, the panels are joined to build the fuselage by means of NC axes and according to best-fit-method.

The horizontal and lateral splices are subsequently drilled and riveted with a half-ring riveting machine or a semi-automatic riveting machine.
