We have developed a new, modular tooling technology for the production of large fiber composite structures. With this technology it is possible to use smaller, more cost-effective segments to build large tools. We are using a special joining technique, meeting the requirements for load and vacuum tightness. The individual components are fabricated by a special casting technique with integrated ribbing.
- Two-dimensional laying and curing tools for fiber composite components with patented molding/casting technique
- Shape calculation taking into account thermal expansion
- Dimensional stability through integrated ribbing
- Uniform wall thickness for homogenous heat transfer
- Vacuum-tight joining of segments possible
- Repeatable results
- Maintenance friendly
