Many of the riveting machines built by BRÖTJE-Automation feature two or more mechanically separated positioning units (e.g. inner and outer systems; upper and lower tool for riveting and positioning system, etc.). These are usually moveable in dependence of one another. The axis configuration can be adapted to requirements, to meet for example specific process and space limitations.
In this example, a drilling and riveting machine was built with inversed kinematics (3D Cartesian program), robot-control, linked inner and outer system (11 axes) and complex optical sensors. The drilling and riveting machine can be pivoted separately.
