BRÖTJE-Automation - Transport Technology

BRÖTJE-Automation provides vehicles for in-plant transportation of work pieces. For this purpose, CLAAS Fertigungstechnik has developed a very successful all-electric version of an AGV on basis of the MECANUM wheel technology. The vehicles are suitable for the following transport tasks:

Wings: in-plant transportation of completed wings by means of two MC drives which are electrically coupled.
Fuselage sections and complete fuselages: Modular fuselage section transporter. Due to its modular design the system is able to couple any number of MC drives and thus transporting single sections as well as complete fuselages with one system.
General transportation of parts and components
In-plant transportation for loading cargo planes: CLAAS Fertigungstechnik has developed and built a cargo loader with state-of-the-art technology so that aircraft sections can be loaded into a cargo plane.
