Measurement of cylindrical components

Optimal quality, step by step

Cylindrical and shaft type components  such as camshafts, are generally manufactured in a multi-stage process. Accordingly, multiple measurements are often made within the production process to ensure that the quality of the components meets its standard in each individual part of the process. This also prevents unnecessary processing or rework downstream.

Precise monitoring of actual dimensions combined with closed loop control ensures that the upstream process is optimised on a fully automatic basis. This makes the aim of zero-defect production achievable.

Our laser measuring machines for cylindrical components are characterised by their extreme precision and their compliance with tough requirements in terms of measuring speed and availability.
